This year, JCC had hosted various kinds of events from the Arts to Design. The most remarkable highlight being the visit by Prime Minster to the opening ceremony of Kogei Exhibition.

JCC had constructively incorporated the recommendations which were given last year. JCC had more two-way multilateral projects involving Japan, Singapore and other Southeast Asian Artists, wider outreach leading to the numerous exchange programs between JCC and Japan, and increase in various events which were not limited to exhibitions but also such as lectures, demonstrations and workshops.

H.E. Ambassador Tommy Koh and distinguished members from various organizations attended the Advisory Meeting and they were briefed about the said activities of JCC.

There was also a fruitful discussion on how JCC could work towards the special 2015 and 2016 which celebrates the “SG50” and “SJ50” (The 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Singapore and Japan) respectively. Many suggestions for future collaborations were presented during the meeting as well.
